How did you earn your first buck online?

Please give me some motivation. I have not been feeling very inspired lately. I have earned my first bucks online a long time ago. It was with PPC.

How did you earn your first buck/pay check online?
 


It might be a bit more motivation to learn how someone's made their most recent buck, rather than the first one...
 
~played online poker
~lost online poker bankroll
~needed to recover bankroll
~became an affiliate with poker site
 
YouTube spamming, got up to $x,xxx/day but then they patched comment rating and view bots.
 
My first buck was made with my first PPC campaign back in 2008.

I haven't done much PPC since, and have been focused on SEO as my traffic source for the last few years.
 
90% of the people here are broke and make nothing, other 10% are selling BST services to the broke 90%. Relatively similar structure on most IM/MMO forums. edit: Actually I forgot to account for the percentage of people slanging on Fiverr.

I make a dollar a day working 15 hours straight, dropping aff links where people won't find them.
 
Made my first dollar online 15 yrs ago with a pokemon site I started in middle school. Used Microsoft's LinkExchange to get ads to push on my site.

Eventually I got banned for having a low quality site. I think advertisers weren't getting much ROI from a bunch of 10-13 yr olds (this was well before shopping online was mainstream) and let's just say as a 12 yr old myself I wasn't strictly adhering to any "best practices" in terms of ad placement.

I then signed up for the now long-defunct AllClicks, which literally gave you a URL and paid 3 cents per click no matter how you got someone to click on the link. You were told to make up whatever anchor text or link whatever picture you wanted, if you got the click, you got 3 cents.

I actually made some decent coin (for that age) with giant text links that said "free pokemon cards" that in all likelihood probably linked to male enhancement products or porn. Fuck a quality score, lol.
 
Offered forum posting and earned $2 which opened my eyes and i started beliving we can also make money online lulz
