How do you personally define "rich"

Most all would like to be financially independent. Some were born into families with money, some just the opposite. Being rich is actually a state of mind. Inner peace with your needs met is a simple definition of being rich to me.

Of course again, being financially independent is a wish I think most all of us here share!

1.) Waking up beside the person you love every day, while simply knowing you'll be waking up beside that person for the rest of your life. That one is by far the most important for me. Without it, I'm useless.

2.) Being able to wake up beside that person, chat a bit, and say, "hey, you know what? let's pack our bags a head to the beaches of Bali for a bit. Nothing else to do", without a single thought about the money it'd cost, or anything else.

3.) Good friends, family, and people to bullshit with about nothing and everything.

4.) Good societal environment. I like knowing my neighbors, seeing them everyday, knowing their personalities, and them knowing mine. Good for the soul.

Other than that, not much. Just the ability to enjoy life without worry, basically. Never worrying, always enjoying.

rich = net worth , it defines how much you own and how much do you have as total with out inv, alot of people look at rich in many ways , somepeople have 100k and think thier rich, some 500k and think thier rich ,

for me rich is key for what i want to get in life ,

i cant tell you how much i have, but have alot, cant tell you how many business i own but alot,

i would like to add somthing being rich is alot of problems and believe me ALOTTTT, people like you for the money you have, ( they want some money ) employess headache thats another one,

but on the plus site , you get respect, what ever you want , and power to do anything, thats being rich ,

for example if i look at a bar and i like it, i will buy it if i want to , but i would do is what we call smart business man( jackass) build a bar next to that bar and destroy thier business and force them to shut down , your capital can do anything

Rich is when you have a shitload of money

Wealthy is when you can do whatever you want, when you want :)

Alot of "rich" people still hate themselves.

Wealthy seems to be heavily correlated with happiness :)

£1k a day. As a single man with few staff/taxes/fees to pay, a grand a day could buy me practically all I could ever want.

"According to Roberto, Pablo's accountant, he and his brother's operation spent $2,500 a month just purchasing rubber bands to wrap the stacks of cash"

Or what is 'rich' to you basically. Net worth? High income? Possessions? Existential realization? Simple question, probably not a simple answer.

Emotionally peaceful, family health and happiness, and never having to worry about money again = Rich

$150 million. if i can't buy three $20 million residences in different countries without lots left to spare, i won't feel rich. for example, with $30 million, i can only buy one $20 million penthouse and then i only have $10 million left....not ideal!
