I hate to say it but...(Newt/RP)

TL DR; every comment,

but if newt ran w/ RP as VP i'd vote for him

If i had to rank the candidates, RPs #1 for me Newts #2 - the bottom line is that the guy is pretty intellectual, hes a great speaker, and he's got a lot more knowledge imo than Romney or fuckface santorum

Newt is EXACTLY the same as all the others except RP. If anyone but RP wins the US will keep heading in the same direction, nothing will change. He's a great speaker? Who gives a fuck? Just means he has more effectively lied to ur dumb ass.

Some seriously fucking naive marketers round here.

He's still the 2nd best...

As usual, people are speaking with their own interests and intellect in mind.

Of course RP is a breed of his own and unlike the other three running. But 50% of Paul's argument is his economic stance, which Newt (at least publicly) completely agrees with. The other 50% is his foreign policy, which Newt is kind of vague about compared to Romney/Santorum.

15% is still the lowest besides RP tho
You're missing the point.

Paul doesn't think there should be any income tax. That is a radically different proposal than Romney wanting 20% and Newt wanting 15%.

Let's put this in a different context.

Example.

Ron Paul thinks abortion is wrong.

Newt thinks 15 abortions are ok, Romney thinks 20 abortions are ok.

Is Newt really closer to Paul or to Romney?

I agree with the point, but terrible analogy.

I don't see anything wrong with income tax, as long as it's low and flat. Again, in the real world it's not always what's principally right, it's what realistic. If you have a President that actually wants a 15% income tax and a Vice President that wants 0% but also can influence foreign policy in some capacity...you take that over RP's slim-to-none shot at the title.

Ron Paul's crowd wants the American utopia and that's why so many are fanatics...it's not real.

I still think Romney takes it, which is why somebody else has to take it. Santorum is a nut and the media abolishes Paul, the next best is Newt and the next best thing Paul can do is become his VP.

Why does anyone have a right to tax someone else?

That is the real question.

Principally, you are right. But our society does not consist of people who are driven by that principle (socialist tendencies are part of the problem). Humans are built on their sociality...majority does rule sometimes. Ron Paul wants to shock the lifestyle of the majority, it's too much right now.

Ron Paul's progress has been very slow (starting decades ago) but has clearly grown in that time. He's at his highest point by far but just will not be President this time, and he can do much more by becoming Newt's VP than by supporting Rand Paul to do anything to that scale.

Fuck Newt, no chance Clinton Jr is the GOP nom. Mitt is the clear 2nd best choice (yeah, ndaa and all) because I genuinely believe Santorum thinks he can bring the apocalypse ... and I'm not even 1/2 way joking.

I would actively campaign for Obama (but would vote 3rd party) if Rick is the GOP choice .... even fucking VP. He's a deal breaker.

I don't think you have to worry lol. Although he does appeal to the religulous...

Principally, you are right.
I am either right, or I am wrong. Which is it?

I can't be both right and wrong, because that would be a contradiction.

Please try to use clear language to exercise logical thought. Everything else comes off as cognitive dissonance.

Don't taxes also cover many services and structures that are necessary?

Yes, taxes cover many services and structures.
Whether or not they are necessary is debatable.

For the sake of argument, let's say I agree with every government program out there. Is it OK for me to rob people, or lock them in cages should they refuse, so I can have access to public roads, public parks, and other luxuries?
