I love living in a 3rd world shithole.

I just know that some fatass donut eating ex-marine cop can kick in your front door, blow your fucking face off and then say he swore your tv remote was a handgun and walk away with a golden pension.

True, but let me tell you this: if this happened in my country (Lebanon) or many other 3rd world countries, the guy wouldn't even need to go to court to answer for that he did. His word is enough. lol that's how fucked up life is in the 3rd world.

Cops/Military/Diplomats/Politicians/Noble & Wealthy families are at the TOP of the pyramid and laws do not apply to them.

Quit shitting on Arabia bro. We all know it's the worst region in the world. I'm not a Bush fan, but the more I learn about arabs the more I start to believe they really hate freedom. How in the world else would you explain every democratic election voting in sharia law?

I used to be pretty indifferent, bordering on positive, towards muslims, but really the more experience I get with them, the more I start to realize what bigoted, violent, primitive people most of them are.

Btw, it's good that you realize the value of a free, secular nation built by Europeans. Would you mind explaining that to the ungrateful masses invading the west these years.

I don't really have a need for that upper class lifestyle. I'll take it if I can get it, but it isn't necessary. Pretty much open to anywhere in Europe that's reasonably affordable, fun, stuff to do, explore, chill, etc

eastern europe is fun. I'm currently in tallinn, estonia for a change of scenery. It's deff one of the most western baltic states. It's pretty inexpensive. I am in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom new condo and paying 700 euros a month. Everyone speaks english pretty well. The airport kind of sucks (small and im used to nyc). You can ferry it to helsinki in about 2 hours... and ferry it to other places.

Portugal is also relatively inexpensive compared to the united states. I enjoy Lisbon. Rent is about the same. It is deff nicer weather.

I mean... its really basic... pick a country that has some economic troubles or is "developing" and visit the best cities.

Google the average salaries of each place and you will see where you stand in comparison to the rest.

edit: but please dont get me wrong... if i was making the amount of money the average person makes it would not be as fun... i'm not delusional...

I don't know, I have never been to Thailand.

I just know that some fatass donut eating ex-marine cop can kick in your front door, blow your fucking face off and then say he swore your tv remote was a handgun and walk away with a golden pension.

No one is safe. And you're certainly not safe in America.

Agreed that Thailand is pretty good, but there is nothing like absolute safety or safety. You only want to know how safer you are compared to some other parts of the world.

For example, in a lot of countries cops would kidnap, kill and cremate people. No one would notice. If some weak people complain, they'll have the same consequences. If someone strong complains, the court will rarely go against the cops because cops can manipulate shit easily. Be practical now, it doesn't happen that way in the US or Europe.

Lets say there are bad cops in the US or Europe. On a scale of 1 to 100, you would give 5 to ones in the shitty country and 80 to US, Europe for example. It is all relative.

You so like to have delusions, don't you

Lets say there are bad cops in the US or Europe.
Never been to Europe.

There are very bad cops in the US. The entire government is completely corrupt. They just have superior public relations.

Also, I do know that my friend in Slovakia was almost beaten to death by cops there. So I suppose some parts of Europe aren't very safe either.

You so like to have delusions, don't you
We all have delusions, the difference between you and me, is that I know I have delusions.

You don't need a beating or a false charge to get an idea how good or bad cops are.

If you honestly compare the Canadian and Indian cops, you'll know how BIG difference there is. And there are quite a lot of countries worse than India too

Also, I do know that my friend in Slovakia was almost beaten to death by cops there. So I suppose some parts of Europe aren't very safe either.

The more you go east in Europe the worse it gets. Tons of areas in Romania / Polish border to Russia which easily compete with the worst areas in the US. Same goes for Balkan region along with Albania.

Especially in those countries the golden rule is not to fuck with the police. By that I mean not to argue, not to bullshit them when drunk or anything. Eastern European Police is known for really fucking you up if you offend them in any possible way.

Honestly spoken I cannot understand why so many people have problems with cops in foreign countries. I've been to around 50 countries in my life and haven't had a single problem with cops there. No matter it was Romania, Poland, USA, Thailand or Dominican Republic. I had more the opposite experience when it comes to police in foreign countries.

Comparing US cops to Eastern European cops shows you've never been in Eastern Europe and don't know much about how badly things run there...

EDIT: sorry, you did not compare, just mentioned there are bad cops in the US...

Uh, yeah. I said I had never been there. I never compared them. Jacky8 said they were the same similar.

Yes, but how many goats do you own?

My point is just that when you say cops in the US are bad, you do realize they are 20 times better than ones in [insert shitty country]?

I mean, if you create a relative measurement scale, US cops will win big time over Indian ones for example. That's the whole point. You want to get better. There's nothing like perfection. The universe/god is perfection

Tell us more about your goats.

Goat rearing is huge. They are in huge demand for slaughtering during Eid. I don't have any though. More later..

Uh, yeah. I said I had never been there. I never compared them. Jacky8 said they were the same similar.

Yep and I just said it's pretty much worse about the situation there then it is known to public. Not more, even corrected my mistake about you comparing it.

Yes, but how many goats do you own?
Won't out, but maybe you can do a webinar specifically for goats.

You do realize that when I say cops in the US are bad, I am not comparing them?

No one cares about India except you. There are no moving to India threads. This isn't fucking digitalpoint ffs.

lol. You never get the point if you don't want to.

Also define "bad" in that case. I said the whole point is about being better than others.. and getting more and more better

You probably have moar business going on at DP than many on this thread ($10 per month sig rental income)

I have made much more money on digitalpoint from sig links than I have on Wickedfire in 2012. 100% correct.

Eloquent.
Unfortunately, it has taken me a couple years of close observation to realize that the word best used actually is "primitive". In terms of social science anyway. Check this out though..

My neighbor ties a pillow to his horse for a saddle, no problem man no saddle sore ass, I understand. Tends the the village sheep all damn day. That is a hard job bitches. Then gets off his horse and surfs the Internet on his cell phone.

Ok. There is a HUGE tech gap from sheep herder to google. I am so curious as to what the sudden influx of technology will do to this village. No running water, no gas, no indoor plumbing... Internet.

It boggles the mind really.

I think we got some evolution that will create clear lines really soon. Have you seen how advanced the robots are in Japan? They are all iRobot and embracing it. How long before they are a robot-augmented society (to support their radiation sickened people)?

So we have guys chucking rocks at tanks in dusty streets, other dudes riding mechwarrior robots, a whole society under modern fascism my god we are ripe to split into different human types man ...

Oh oh sorry, the thread..
I am ready to go back to Portland and hit Hamburger Mary's on 5th Ave. kiss my dear old mom and sister then bounce to new zealand bitches ...

It's not just "Arabia" as you call it with your racist tone. It's the vast majority of 3rd world countries.

As I said earlier in this thread, I once dated a Chinese girl who was telling me that in China, if you're born in a farmer family, you have pretty much zero chance of making it. Not enough money to go to university and not enough social leverage to start a business. No government funding available for you. Nada. You have to run the farm or do lower class jobs like cleaning the streets, washing dishes or shit like that.

In the U.S. or any western country, whether you're born in a poor or rich family, it doesn't really matter. Sure the rich kid might have it easier because he might inherit the family business or whatever, but the poor kid can still make it if he is remotely interested in succeeding. He can get a waiter job in a restaurant and earn enough money to get an apartment and pay for utilities and shit. He can even get loans to go to university or start a business. Sky is the limit!

I used to be pretty indifferent, bordering on positive, towards muslims, but really the more experience I get with them, the more I start to realize what bigoted, violent, primitive people most of them are.

That's a whole new topic and I don't want to derail the thread, but how many muslims do you know? You know that the bad ones make more noise than the good ones right? The media tends to give them a hand too...

90% of Americans don't know that Steve Jobs is half Arab (His dad was), that the richest man in the world is an Arab (Carlos Slim Helu)... tons of Hollywood celebrities, singers and actors are of Arab/Muslim descent. Paul Anka, Frank Zappa, Shakira, Dr. OZ, the list goes on and on, but somehow when an Arab throws a rock at at somebody in Jerusalem, everyone is on it.

Not going to derail the thread anymore than it is, but it's impossible for me to respect people who believe in stoning women for adultery and has rules for how to beat your wife, not to mention the hundred other absurd rules for which you can be lashed or killed such as singing or dancing. It's the worlds most oppressive ideology even worse than socialism. Let's leave it at that. I've known good 'muslims' in quotation since they weren't any more muslim than I am christian.

lukep, you're really bugging me. If you keep up with this then Thailand is going to be overrun with gay webmasters. Can you just let these fools keep their narrow little view of the world and stay where they are?
Actually, my devious plan is to get all of the obomba voters out of the country by November. Sorry for the inconvenience, bro. ;)

mind telling which index are u referring to?
That's my opinion, but it's got a strong correlation to the CATO Economic Freedom index.

Food? I couldn't really eat healthier if I wanted to. If you really think you have to move to Thailand to eat healthy you are, I'm sorry, a freaking idiot.

Product availability? LOL you are really reaching my friend. I have and continue to buy anything and everything I want, regardless of where it's made. If I want something that's not easily available here in the US, I freakin' order it or make other arrangements to have it delivered to me, or in rare occasions I travel and pick it up myself. Seriously? No one in their right mind is going to move to Thailand because of better "product availability". I'm literally LOL'ing right now.

Freedom? As I said, I have all the freedom I could ever want. You didn't give any specific example of a freedom I don't have, so not much to discuss.
These are exactly the answers one would expect of someone who hasn't travelled much and seen the good in other countries. You have just proven to me that your standards are far lower than average.

Like I said, I CHALLENGE you to name one meaningful benefit I would gain by moving to Thailand. You can't do it. Period, and you know it.
I know that proving it to you would require showing you things you can't yet conceive.

I might first try showing a caveman why he should prefer an iPad to an antenna TV though, it might be easier.

I don't give a rats ass about inflation.
This too shows a large lack of practical values. You just said: "I don't care if my money is suddenly made worthless."

Why make money at all then? San Diego is not eden, last I checked.

You keep talking about losing your freedoms, but you never give any examples that make any sense. Tell me one meaningful freedom I have lost or will lose that I will actually give a fuck about or that will materially affect my wonderful life here in the shitty old USA?
Haven't you been paying attention on this board at all? Every 10th friggin thread in STS is started by someone who heard about a new law where the government is doing some really horrible thing like patrolling the skies here with drones, assasinating US civillians, granting more powers to agencies like the TSA that shouldn't even exist in the first place... Taxes aside there are likely a HUNDRED issues I could come up with just by scrolling through STS here. And yes, many of them effect me directly, like the TSA, Internet laws like ACTA and CISPA, FACTA, & all kinds of Tax laws.

Please do us all a favor and not argue about this too. Only a moron or Obomba himself would side with you on that one.

And just out of curiosity, why do you assume you know anything about me? I've probably traveled the world twice as much as you have.
I don't claim to know much about you other than the fact that you have very low, american standards about what foods & products you can buy and freedom in general. Be assured that I wasn't alone in making that assumption about you... Many ppl on this board who have travelled a good bit have surely come to the same conclusion.
