Yes and no.
It's weak enough to where if you tap it against your arm it feels like someone pinches the shit out of you but nothing that you can't handle.
However, if you hold it against someone for 2+ seconds you lock up and your brain doesn't work quite right. It won't drop you quite like a taser will but it will do the job. It's more loud than anything and tends to scare people
If I am about to rape you, and you jamb that into my ribs and hold it there how long can you taze me? Does it shut off after 2 second? OR will it keep going? Will it stop me from raping you? Or is it more of a distraction so you can try to run away? Or would it be a good idea to carry a rape whistle as well?
Im just curious if this is more likely to irritate an attacker or if it can stop him long enough to get away?

For the average raper, this would fuck their shit up especially in the ribs. It doesn't shut off after any period of time but after 7 seconds of continuous blast you can compromise internal circuitry. I can't say it would guarantee a stop of rape but the pain would feel similar to jabbing a 2-3in pocket knife in their ribs.
It has a very threatening sound in person. None of our videos do justice for what it sounds like.
