Making money online blows

To some people McDonalds would be easier, since it doesn't require as much brain power. You do your usual every day routine, get a paycheck at the end of the week.

In IM you consistently have to be thinking and working to stay a step ahead of the game, you're the only person responsible for your paycheck. it's not something everybody can do, thats why the OP is pissed.

I do think people can get lucky, such as I have, but luck and skill are completely two different things. Luck is only going to last so long, while skill is confidence which can last a life time.
 
Yeah making money online was not meant to be easy. Hell even working a 9-5 job isn't easy. If you can work a 9-5 job then transfer that energy to your online campaigns. Once you realize some success, you will see how hard work pays off.

Most of the guys making all the big k's, worked their ass off to reach there.

You know it's funny, this stuff is the easy part to me. I can fill my site with content all day long. And for me it's fun, I really enjoy it. It's the programming and technical side that kicks my ass.

Which is why I outsource. :D

Eventually, I think I would like to partner with one of these madd hatters around here, who may be a little weak on the creative and communicative side. :yin-yang:
 
Everybody, it's easy to feel the way this guy feels. Go easy on him. In fact - congratulate him! One less person to compete with.

I'm all for helping someone make money online - I enjoy talking about it, I enjoy thinking about new ways to do it, and I enjoy trying new things.

I hate losing at it.

I really love when I wake up in the morning to check my CommissionJunction stats and I have a couple of sales and a new eBay signup. I really like when I refresh my Copeac statistics screen I keep in a tab on my browser and there's eight more zip submits. I even love it when I look at the AdSense notifier at the bottom of my browser and I see that my AdSense earnings for the day have increased by another .31 or whatever.

But again - I hate losing. So I know how he feels. I'm not about to attack him for giving up, and I certainly would NEVER mock him for whining and I would never ever point out to him that the worst POSSIBLE location for him to post a complainy message is WickedFire.

All I would say to him is: sorry it didn't work out for ya. Really I am. I wish you the best elsewhere.

Because I don't believe in wasting my time on someone who's lost the will to keep trying.

In fact I just wrote about something related to this in my blog. (Sorta.)

Dude, you just described affiliate marketing...it's a job, not a snap your fingers and money rains on you type of deal. It does require some work lol but it's not that bad...sign up with 10 different networks and tell them all to send you a list of their top 20 offers, you will find there will be A LOT of similarities...

First of all I didn't mean to imply that it's a "make money overnight" deal, I know it's a a job, I've been doing this for past few months spending 18 hrs., a day 7 days a week.

What do you mean about asking networks for their top 20 offers and there will be similiarties? What similiarities? the same types of offers? dating and ringtones? What's so important about knowing this?

What?!? Who says you have to do just that to make money online?

I'm amazed at how many people think affiliate marketing HAS TO involve constant blog writing and constantly setting up and monitoring PPC campaigns..

Making money on the internet can be done in MANY ways. PPC-->A.M. is just ONE of many, many methods. Look around. Read around. Check out the blogs of Eli, Seocracy, and other renowned members here. Think unconventional. Who says you gotta follow the herd and only do this business one way?
 
I have to agree with T3hSh1t... google shouldnt try to make a profit, they should dedicate themselves to us...
and why the heck do other people try to make money too and pay more for the keywords... they should let me have them all for 1 cent each.
 
Oh well, if there weren't a zillion people out there who wanted bags of money dumped on their front doorstep with no effort on their part, half the offers we promote wouldn't exist. I guess a few of them will find their way here.

Don't call him a whining bastard, when you're the one doing that.

The forum has more content, data and archiving than even those $100 paid outlets on there. It has some of the best folks around who help in more than one way. All this only if you stop being a fuckin worseless fag.

You think Jon's gonna get rich with a 100 members paying $35 a month ? Fuck that.

And if you're on WF and think $35 is a big deal, you don't deserve it to be here mate.

To the OP, I couldn't agree more, things are going out of everyone's hands. Everyone is facing the noob attack TBH. At such time, rather than sitting with your head in your palms and thinking Online Money Making blows, why not sit back and think of other alternatives ?
