Also, Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" changed my attitude about money.

I've read that too, thought it was a good read. Another book which was a great read (more for entertainment value rather than learning value) was Richard Branson's Autobiography, Losing my Virginity.

"Getting Things Done" by DAvid Allen

I seriously wish I'd have found that one earlier (like when writing my diploma thesis).

Bunch of others, but it's name ONE book thread, eh?

I liked Rich, Dad Poor Dad too until I read this:

http://www.johntreed.com/Kiyosaki.html

It made me look at it a lot differently.

Two recent books I read that changed the way I think were Blink by Malcolm Gladwell and The Tipping Point, also by Gladwell. I really highly recommend them.

E-Myth was pretty good I agree.

Bare Foot Investor was a good red too - about investing in Australian shares etc so only relevant for Aussies I guess.

Rich Dad Poor Dad spraked an interest for me in improving my situation.

I think Rich Dad, Poor Dad was a huge letdown, and then I read the critics. :p
Basically, they're ripping him a new one...

I guess I gotta go read E-Myth now.

I read that as well. He raises some interesting points but the primary thing I got from Kiyosaki's book is that it changed a lot of what I thought about money. Sure there's many truisms/maxims/trite sayings but it was woven into a convincing package.

Sometimes the EFFECT of something is more real than the thing that inspired it.

That's a good point, and his main point is a good one (building assets versus liabilities).

Never Eat Alone This is the best book that I have read about how to network. I immediately put into action several of his tips and realized how quickly they can build your business and personal networks.

Fred Factor A great quick read about providing exceptional service and making a difference to everyone you meet.

I have many more but wont bore you with them right now.

I've been thinking more about this, and I remembered this one:

How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Cheesy title, sure, but it's gold.

A true Classic! That was the first book I read when I started my sales career. It just seems so obvious, however it is amazing what happens when you actually pay attention what other people are saying or doing.

Another classic that I am surprised no one has said is Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich.
