Just announced

I love how VP picks are such big news, but that they are so useless

Now why oh why would Romney possibly be choosing this time, ahead of the RNC (which is when it is usually done) to announce such a thing?

It couldn't just be a distraction from these three days of solid asswhooping he's taken, could it?

Two Days ago:

The Andrea Saul blunder went Viral and every conservative from Rush Limpballs to party insiders are saying that Romney's Campaign is a Disaster:

Romney Spokeswoman Andrea Saul Touts Romneycare In Fox News Spot - Business Insider

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9MK4POgGfA]Poll: Should Republicans Dump Romney? - YouTube[/ame]

All the media channels are talking about that fuckup. If R$ fires Saul he'll look heartless. If he doesn't, he'll look like he's shagging her. Oh this is good stuff you couldn't plan for if you tried!

Yesterday:

Governor Paul LePage Threatens RNC Boycott If Maine Ron Paul Delegates Are Not Seated

(Pretty much all delegates minus Gov Le Page himself are Liberty delegates in Maine. The GOP told them that they were not allowed at the RNC because they didn't swear an oath of loyalty to Romney. (Otherwise that would make a 5th state for Paul delegate majorities, and it takes 5 to Nominate someone @ the RNC.)

And Today:
Polls shows that Obama's pulling up away sharply from R$ because of it all.

Romney had no chance at all before.

Now he has no chance of even Appearing like he has a chance.

If only all of this stuff had happened at a more opportune moment for the Paul camp, say, like just a couple of weeks before the RNC...

I don't think many Americans know, but the VP used to be the first loser in the Presidential race.

Thomas Jefferson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That's kind of what Obama did. I think he asked Hillary, but she said no. Then he picked Biden which was was one of the other runner ups in the nomination process.

The problem with the current republican runner ups for the nomination are that they either hate Romney, are dumb, or have extremely different views.

Luke P = Useful idiot.

Some sites are already reporting that it's Paul Ryan and CNN is pretty much only talking about Ryan.

Ah, Partners in crime, at it again:

CNN says they have 3 direct sources that it is Paul Ryan.

Lol at iPhone app to be the "first to know" who the pick is.

Paul Ryan voted for the TARP bailout, the auto bailout, the Medicare part D extension, etc.

Ryan gets bitch-slapped by Ron Paul

I decided the day he was nominated that I was voting for Obama. They need to be taught a lesson: You don't f((( with the tea party. Maybe we should start compiling a list of all the Tea Party victims.

Republicans are going to think Ryan is a great choice but democrats are giddy about Romney picking Ryan. Medicare is a sacred cow and Ryan wants to turn it into a voucher program.

That just isn't gonna fly. Romney isn't going to be able to turn his campaign into a debate about entitlements and fiscal health after he spent his primary running on wacky right wing ideas and the guy never takes a real position on anything. Whines about Obama being mean to him and asking for apologies.

Republicans are so hopelessly inept this election cycle. They will never be able to implement the types of reforms they want if they continue to push away the youth and minorities. Get on board with gay marriage, get on board with immigration, and then maybe you have a shot at reforming medicare, welfare, social security.

This election sucks. There's nothing even going on. Remember the 2008 election? Now that was a proper, highly entertaining election. Obama drawing these massive crowds, Palin stumbling on the difficult questions like "name a newspaper", McCain saying the economy is strong then the next day the Dow plummets 730 points, Biden can't stop himself from blurting out stupid shit, religious fanatics are having convulsions because Obama is secretly the muslim anti-christ from Kenya, and loads, loads more.

This election there isn't really anything. Mitt managed to piss off most of England, and a few other small things, but nothing really. Too bad, I was looking forward to the entertainment US elections tend to bring.

If he was gonna pick someone just because he 'has a plan', he shoulda picked this guy:

In every race across the country, the Ryan budget plan is the albatross that hangs around the neck of Republican candidates. So why not set the task of defending the plan to the architect himself, Paul Ryan. Because there's nothing defensible about a budget that hands out tax cuts to wealthy individuals and corporations while asking more of working class families already struggling just to get by - and still doesn't even close the budget deficit until 2040. With Ryan at his side, there's no etch-a-sketching Romney's support for a plan that would end Medicare as we know it, cause seniors to pay more out of their pocket for health care, and cost America millions of jobs over the next two years.
