I definitely don't think it's a deal either, I think it'd actually be pretty baller if he debated in a shirt/tie with a pimp bathrobe over all of it.

The issue here is millions of Americans do care about it. Aside from a few issues, I don't have problems with what Ron Paul is saying and how he goes about saying it. So when I look for areas that he can improve in, this one sticks out like a sore thumb. And as mentioned, it's an incredibly easy fix and he'd look much more presentable.

I'm not spending days to promote a campaign to improve Ron Paul's wardrobe. I made a thread discussing a topic I saw relevant to his campaign, and most people agree with me. I wanted to know if I was the only one to know this, and then the haters came in and said "HURRDURRRR IT'S POINTLESS YOU MORON". That's not the fucking point, so keep wasting your time. The point is that Ron Paul's campaign is great, but it could be improved. I'm shooting the shit.

I'm not saying you guys aren't allowed to worry yourself about something so trivial, I'm just pointing out that it is in fact trivial, and that there are far more important things that can be done that could actually bring non-RP supporters into his camp. I get it - you guys are saying it's such an easy fix that it's foolish not to do it but we're just pointing out that it doesn't make a difference.

It's not entirely trivial and there's literally no way you can prove "not 1 person will vote for Ron Paul based on his appearance". The point is that Ron Paul needs to do everything he can to appeal to the idiots of America, and that includes looking the part. Not looking like Quasi Modo.

The type of people that vote based on appearance are never going to vote for him, so although it's an easy fix it accomplishes nothing.

People do not vote entirely based on appearance (well maybe some do), but they're more likely to take someone seriously if they look like a leader. A skinny old man in an oversized suit doesn't look like a strong leader, therefore he has less of a chance of swing voter taking him seriously.
