Oh is that what you call it? "bad business practice"? Yes, you are correct, fly by night networks signing up fly by night affiliates all in it to get rich by scamming people into perpetual credit card charges on a free trial offer by fly by night companies who push snake oil products certainly is a bad business practice.
FWIW, most criminals, scammers, dealers, and con men accept a few basic premises when they engage in the businesses that they do.
1. Easy money doesn't last long
2. Easy money isn't always easy
3. When you set out to scam people; you sometimes end up getting scammed.
4. When the hammer falls; don't be under it and be ready to accept a loss of income while you start up a new scam
5. Always have a new con waiting in the wings.
Again, I find it funny when people with little business experience think they are great business people because they stumbled upon a scam that makes them some quick easy cash; in this case rebillers. Then I find it even funnier when they have the audacity to complain when the wheels fall of the scam and they get dicked.
Tell you what you should do. Have the network give you the names and numbers of all the customers requesting a chargeback (or their credit card companies). Explain to them that you are the owner of a website that had an advertisement or sent and email that led them to the landing page for the free smaple that ended up costing them $200. Ask them (in a very serious tone); why would you cancel this service and request your money back? Then be prepared to get shit thrown at you.
The lesson here: If you want to be a shady business making shady money be prepared to get screwed sometimes. If you want to be a legit business making legit and long term money through hard work and sustained growth; lease a lower end car and stop fronting with the Patron at Affiliate Summits.
Or for God's sake at least align yourself with a bigger player that won't close up shop and move out in the middle of the night.
P.S. The "get a brain" line of argument was weaksauce.

If you are working with compliant advertisers and following the "rules" (Yes, there are even rules set out recently by the FTC) then you as an affiliate shouldn't be on the hook for the money you spend to advertise just because some fuckhead says he doesn't want to pay... That is money you had to pay out of your own pocket for your ads.. do you think that I should have to just eat it up because you have a cock up your ass? Did you try getting a bigger dick and it didn't work? Is that what happened? I'm saying - it should not be on the affiliates shoulders to take the hit if they have been sending legitamate traffic. That goes for rebills, dating, edu or anything. At what point does it fall on the network or advertiisers shoulders to make sure you don't get credit for a sale you shouldn't get credit for if thats the case. If I see a sale in my account I expect to be paid for that.
As far as who the fuck I am and what I know I don't have to prove shit to you - but I work closely w/ a few of the networks on here and they know who I am

Odds are I've made 100x time more than you will ever make in your whole life in the passed 3 years before I even knew what a rebill was. So the fact I haven't received a wire now since the 17th of April leaving me owed $22,000 (and yes ive already been informed of an 85 lead (3K) CB scrub) has Nothing to do with the fact that you haven't been paid yet?

A few pubs with recent traffic (past 2-3 weeks) have not been paid yet, we are waiting to be paid on that traffic before we pay out on it. Was told the wire should be in our account on Monday for that traffic.

He may be on weeklies. However i wasnt going to send anything out until i am sure that the advertiser was confirming the leads left are valid and will be paid for.
Also since most people like a sensational story or some drama on these forums i figured i would give everyone some excitement and wait it out.
Everyone will get paid, no one was never not paid by us, even you Ryan.
I don't think Ryan's claim was that people are not getting paid. As we all know, cash flow is very important in this industry at all levels, and a payment that is 200% late is not a trivial inconvenience.
I'm sure the original poster of the issue is happy about the reassurance that he's eventually getting the money, but the fact remains weeklies somehow became three-weeklies through no fault of his own. I can't pretend to imagine the constraints you're working under to keep everyone happy in these relationships, but "just relax, it's coming eventually" would not leave me as an affiliate very thrilled.
