When I was 15 I bought into an MLM deal, learned the hard way about being a stupid mark for charlatans, and now am angry on behalf of everyone who buys into scams like amway, the law of attraction, and seo and hasn't figured out they're stupid marks yet.

MLM in general is pretty shifty and the guys on top prosper like mofo's, but if you can make yourself a "guy on top" you can earn some easy coin. My parents did Amway when I was really young. I hardly remembered much besides going to silly meetings and seeing people become Emeralds and Diamonds and all that. 25 years later I end up asking my parents about it. They said they made an extra 30 grand a year doing that with about two evenings worth of work a week. Of course, there were those guys pulling down a million a year in commissions. I saw one of those pink caddilacs from that other MLM driving around here not too long ago.
