the best part is that you go on w/ your normal diet and routine, and this flush isn't a violent or painful experience. it's pretty mild, w/ impressive results. - source
You are supposed to do it for 30 days because it is milder and is designed to be able to fit in with your normal routine. If I remember correctly, you take everything at morning and night, so you can go about your day uninterrupted. I did it for 20 days and had great results. I didn't do it for 30 because I think I ended up going on vacation and forgot all the ingredients of it.

Just an alternative to going all gung-ho with one of those pepper and lemon juice ass explosions.

Actually, some people use raw garlic and a turkey baster to fight some forms of intestinal parasites.

Raw garlic is an awesome antiseptic. I try to eat at least one clove each day.

Raw garlic is definitely good for the body, my grandparents lived over 90 and they both claimed it was due to regular garlic intake.

Garlique is a good substitute for those who want the effects of garlic without the stinking breath.

Cayenne Pepper is solid as well, and boosts the circulation as an added side effect. There are theories that as the cayenne pepper goes into the bloodstream it breaks apart plaque and other blockages. In fact, one doctors study I read claims anybody with a heart condition should keep a cayenne pepper pill in their pocket at all times, they claim several cases where people under cardiac arrest swallowed a pill, and were golfing/back to normal the same day. Take that for what's it worth of course.

Nothing to do with colon cleansing, I know, didn't mean to go off on a tangent there.

Good info. The Master Cleanse features quite a bit of cayenne pepper in it.

Don't knock it until you have tried it.

And if you really want to follow a natural lifestyle, stop brushing your teeth, washing your clothes, or sleeping in a bed. Now that would be full on paleo. :D

Well no, I haven't tried it... but I'm also in a condition where I don't think I NEED to try it. Broccoli, spinach, and saturated fats make perfectly fine colon cleanses for me. And I do love me some cayenne!

Heh I guess to be full-on paleo I'd have to stop getting hammered too  No way. I love my cheats!

Did today's crossfit workout in under 42 minutes:
- run 1 mile (did this in 6:10)
- 100 pullups
- 200 pushups
- 300 squats (bodyweight)
- run 1 mile (definitely not 6:10 hah!)

I NEVER would have been able to do this prior to going primal. Never. And I know I can get under 40 minutes next time. Why? Because my body fat is far less than ever, my strength-to-weight ratio is through the roof, and I feel great.

No point in 'cleansing' if you're just going to filthify yourself back again. Treat the cause, not the effect.

i did the salt water bath mentioned in the master cleanse book. I kept pooping for like 15 minutes. I don't think i can ever forget that smell. Those shit had been rotten in my stomach for ages

^^^ Salt bath, or salt water flush (drink)?

Been on the lemonade fast 48 hours now... just drank the salt water.. Holeeee FUCK! I think this'll be the end of round one for me.

You should read the book. You're supposed to do the salt water flush on an empty stomach, when you wake up.

It's a really simple cleanse, all you have to do is follow it.
