Okay, so there have been a bunch of whining lately that "Wickedfire is going downhill", or "There are too many n00bs starting stupid threads", or "My mom got fucked by the cat's chew toy and it's all Wickedfire's fault".
So, my challenge to you (and me, truth be told) is to do something about it. How many threads do we really need just bitching and moaning about one thing or another? Seriously? Aren't there already enough?
Here's what you can do to fix the "downward spiral":
1) Drop the elitist attitude. You are not the shit. You also started out somewhere and someone along the line had to help your dumbass get started also.
2) Post something useful. This may be very difficult for many of you, but try. Start a thread about how to code something in whatever language. Start a motivational thread. Give useful feedback to someone asking a question.
3) Stop worrying about what others are doing and build your own business. It's getting so fucking old to see these whiny posts about how so-and-so did this, or I-don't-believe-that-[name]-really-makes-[amount]. Get a life. Worry about what you are doing to make money.
4) Try to act professional occasionally. Even though this place has been built on bullshitting around and locker room talk, there are many that have taken it to far. Remember, there are many influential people that read this forum and you never know when you may need their help / advice or even meet them at a conference. Bear in mind that what they see here helps to formulate their opinion of you before you ever even meet.
So, that's my rant for the day. Take it or leave it.
