Traffic Vance, Traffic Holder and Media Traffic Accounts Hijacked by WF member

Wtf is up with everyone jumping on OPs balls. There are more posts in the topic about how the victim is an idiot than people asking xentech to defend him self.

Lets drop the legal advice from guys who learned law from TV and movies. Its $500 no one is going to sue, he is getting evidence for criminal charges.

Hrm..

Verified the email post here and the account compromise claim in question to be legit with the executive over at Traffic Vance.

To the OP - Its a fubar situation for ya, but try to take a breather. Its not a hack, its just an account being hijacked by someone who had the account information given to him by you, the employer, and used without your permission. Totally hear ya on dealing with assholes you hire that take advantage of ya.

You're not the bad guy here as far as I can tell. But just because someone posts their opinion or advice here, doesn't mean you should get all bent out of shape over it. Just don't follow it. Trust me, I've learned the hard way on here.

To everyone else doling out legal advice when you're not lawyers and/or poking fun or blaming him or warning him of recourse... cool. But you sound pretty retarded. And your opinion is still just an opinion no matter how pretty you dress it up to be.

Even though a member here did something bad, I agree, he technically did not violate the TOS of this forum and did not commit the these account hijacks on the forum or through it, so technically, we have zero weight here. We're Switzerland. Neutral. His account may or may not be banned, depending on how he handles himself here. Not saying he's got the benefit of the doubt, just saying that the OP and the user in question, need to figure out a way to work it out amongst themselves.

Personally, Seema - I wouldn't let anyone who fucked me over after working for me, get away with anything. I'd lay down the law and never let them forget it, using every possible recourse I had at my disposal, regardless of how long or how it would last for or even how brutally aggressive it may be. But I live by a much different code than most others - "Never Forgive. Never Forget. No Remorse. Total Victory." -- But hey, that's just me. :)

Did you reach out to the guy personally for a resolution? Pretty sure it could be resolved with him refunding you for the spend ($500) + compensation equivalent to spend. I know it's about the principle, but I've been in similar situations and screwed out of much more with little recourse without outing my campaigns. Some things are just not worth stressing over. As long as you get compensated, it's a lesson learnt for both parties -- for you, to keep different passwords :).

I had a conversation with him in IM and he denied everthing. He also denied Zen Tech media was his company. Funny how TV just pulled that one out of a hat along with his name.

I have no interest in getting my money back because it will likely cost me more in time and fees than i care to spend on this prick, but I do have a lot of interest in seeing this guy pay for what he did and I fully plan to do so.

Isn't his company name? Isn't the company name basically he's username; just the first letter being different.

Denying that zentech media is his company? Did he deny that James Pardoe is his name too?

Yep... everyone would have been whining for Seema to "out the prick" if he had of just told the story.

It was pretty obvious OP was trying to do the community a service; by warning other potential victims.

Lol at the folks saying he should talk to the guy and try to get his money back. The guy fucking hacked into his account and stole his money! Is that how people around here treat thieves?

Yeah although it may not be a real company just a fake company name he gave to Traffic Vance apon registration. Anyway we'll see what comedy reply he gives when he eventally has the balls to address this thread. Awwww seems he's deleted me from his facebook and blocked me on AIM now. :(

Nope I think that would have been a bit too much of lie, considering we were friends on facebook and I referred to him many times as James on AIM.

He didn't hack his account.
