You're on record saying that peaceful relationships cannot work. That all relationships must necessarily be based on violence.
I am on record saying you cannot trust Mans nature. I have not ever said that "all" relationships, which of course I will give you the benefit my assumption of your contextual intent on the meaning of "relationships", must be backed by the extreme of "violence". Which I understand that you are using because you are taking it to the final meaning, just to be clear.
You cannot jump to "all" because that includes those that I would trust with my life or even a hundred million dollars. At the same time, some of these people that would be loyal to me would also slit anothers throat at the drop of a hat if the situation warranted it. But you can say that my daily expectation of civility in interactions is somewhat based on the premise that order is more likely because of the threat of violence.
My personal experience with the random and even inconsistent nature of Man as well as the bulk of history backs this position.
What gives you your blanket faith in others? I cannot fathom it.
