Honestly, people like you are the reason people that have political arguments against Israel's government get called 'anti-semites' simply for making a criticism. What you said about Israel isn't a political statement, it's a more personal attack that reeks of true anti-semitism. Worse yet, you try and hide it under the veil that necessarily protects real criticism.

wow, Wickedfire is REALLY fucked up. I'd be in support of banning any political thread here.

I got jewish and palestinian friends. Even tho every one of them despises the other side, all of them just want their homeland to live in peace and both agree they are being held off from peace by extremists from BOTH sides. Thats all I have to say.

I love debates about that conflict (not the conflict itself) because there simply isn't a way to justify actions of either one of the sides. And it amuses me to see people try to justify one of the sides.

And when they fail, seeing them trying to weasel out it is pretty funny too.

The step of you turning from "we are civilized and peace-loving people" to "fuck you, we are stronger so we can do what we want" was supposed to be one step before the Hitler.

Only that "don't dare to fuck with us" is extended to "don't dare to prevent us from doing what we want to do".

That's bullying. And so once you got owned going with the higher moral route, you turned to the "but we are stronger" argument.

You're comparing the Israeli-Palestinian relationship now to the Nazi-Jewish relationship back then. If you look at the Israeli-Palestinian relationship back then, before Israel had the power, you get some clues as to why they're not very kumbaya towards the Palestinians.
