Sorry to hear this Mike.. But I agree with what the others have been saying: Things happen for a reason. I've "been there" as well. Came to work one day like usual, and the next thing I know - 15 minutes later, I was packing up my desk into a box and going home! No prior notice. Nothing.
(Btw, this was one of the dot-com companies that crashed in 2000, called
Elftech.com)
That shit would never happen where I live now (by law, you have to be given a 3-month minimum notice).
Anyway.. I know it is hard and all when it happens. I had a family with 2 kids then too as I do now and I didn't know how I was gonna pull through with all the bills and responsibilities.
But in retrospect I am glad it happened. I soon found a new and much better paying job and learned a lot from the whole thing.
PM me if you'd be interested in $100 for each new dedicated server ordered through the international site of my hosting company referred by you. (Moderators: before you shoot med down for promoting my own affiliate shit... I don't run an affiliate offer for my own company, but this is a personal offer to SEO_Mike to help him out of this situation).
I am now working towards quitting my current 9-5 job for the sole purpose of becoming a fulltime dedicated affiliate marketer. I know this is my destiny.
