80% what they post is bullshit, 20% is sometimes cool tweets to other articles that are interesting. right now mozcon is filling up my whole newsfeed it sucks
 
Well that's what you do when you reach Guru status and you've got tons of followers worshipping everything that comes out of your ass. You have to keep giving them things to worship or they might lose interest.

while its cool, it is completely useless to an SEOer and even more confusing to wanna be SEOs and clients trying to learn about SEO imo.

^ It helps when you're working in an office environment and your boss walks by and sees that you are checking out the "Google Weather" instead of the regular weather that other employees look at.

It basically makes your boss feel good to think that he hired a "true geek" that is taking care of shit that nobody else understands in the office... and this alone validates the $70k a year he's spending on your ass.

That's what it does. :)
 
The "I'm seeing lots of changes, anyone else?" question gets asked a lot. If this works as it says, it would be a quick way to get an answer to that.

The weather gimmick thing is a bit weird though and only a few countries use fahrenheit.
