It wouldnt matter what time you went back to, the nature of man has stayed the same.
But in the world we live in, the nature of man is the same.. the weapons getting more and more powerful.. one day using them in large scale...
What you're saying is that human nature stayed the same (in other words, that there will always be wars, for example) but that nowadays, a large-scale conflict similar to WWI or WWII or a could have catastrophic consequences.
Unfortunately, I agree with you.
Guerilla doesn't but I do.
I asked you to answer my question because after drawing the line, there has to be an answer.
The world is either becoming a better place as time passes or it isn't.
On the one hand, you have advantages such as an increased life expectancy and on the other hand, you have disadvantages such as weapons that are powerful enough to generate catastrophic consequences if they end up being used in a large-scale conflict.
Again, I agree.
But I'm asking you to draw an imaginary line and answer just one question:
If you had a time machine at your disposal, would you choose to live in the past?
So after analyzing the pros and cons I mentioned previously, what would your choice be?
If you'd choose another time period, then it means you think the world isn't becoming a better place. If you choose the present, then it means you think the world is becoming a better place as time passes.
p.s. Nice work on the 114 positive feedback at 100%.
Thanks
