With "Winning" comes "Losing".. Worst parts of you life financially?

This scenario is what separates luck and talent. Everyone can hit it once "luck" talent hits it big over and over.

If you're self employed its guaranteed you'll hit a low. Everyone does at some point

Actually, the reason I spent a lot was the 'accidental investments' and also 'greed'

I was always trying to spend money on my next scheme thinking I had the golden touch instead of focusing on what i was really good at / since a youth

I came a long way man..... just feel blessed to say I'm still here because 98% of the people I started with around 2002..... now HAVE to work a 9 to 5

the 'accidental investments' were things people may mock but they help a lot
I bought diamonds and gold jewelry in like 2004 for a lot cheaper than they are worth now....... I had websites i setup and didn't run from 2004-2008 and now they have search authority, so I'm getting to relaunch them

one site just got a link from NY Daily News, i saw today...which i'm pretty proud off b/c I hope to make this site something someone will have to 'acquire'. Set for life money.

The acai/green tea days of AM are dead and buried.

Ups and downs, it's how it goes.

I've had lots of money in the bank and no money in the bank. I'm the same person, just learning lessons.

I am broke as fuck right now. Before the April Google D'Day last year I was on target for 200k that year. Shit exploded and 90% of my income ate it. Same time my girl friend left me and my lease came up, lol.

So I said fuck it and quit working and I have spent the last year traveling the world. I have been on the road for 12 months now started in London and I am now in Osaka Japan. Ive spent up all my savings traveling so I am at the point where I need to rebuild from scratch. But I have had the best fucking year of my life. I also learned that traveling is way cheaper than living at home. I may never go back home.

Was making $250k+/yr in 2006 to 2008.
Was making $0/yr from 2008 to 2010 and realized I didn't really have much savings from my earlier period of 'prosperity'. Learnt a shit lot! More when I lost my money than I'd learnt when I was earning it.
Bounced back harder, Right now I'm making more than I ever was!

ever since I was 16 I started making enough money to eat cheeseburgers instead of beans. But I blew it all and now I'm back to farting uncontrollably.

Do they have families? Do you have a family?

I guess there is some kind of pride that goes along with never taking a normal job, but when you have people relying on you, you can't be a "self-employed" broke dipshit and still be a respected person in my book. In many cases it gets to a point where it's a lot more sensible to find additional work to supplement unstable entrepreneurial efforts.

agreed you have to do what you have to but it's diff from that

in my 'falls' , I had some 'accidental investments' that held me over as i moved into the next gig.

Old websites can do a lot for you in this age if you know what you're doing with it.

And yes, i have a family / kid.
