I give infowars a lot of credit. They are down in the shit every night streaming. They are breaking a lot of the stories. They caught the audio for the al jazera(spelled wrong for sure) reporters. But at the same time they have been gassed, chased, had guns pointed at them, and had their reporter actually shot and hit by rubber bullets.

This stuff has all happened in the little box. Step out of that box and you can easily get killed. These cops are amped up just waiting to murder someone
 


The ofc has a fractured orbital. I've been to med school (dropout) and it takes a fuckload of pressure to break an orbital. It didn't happen from bumping his head on the cruiser door.

I am 6'3" and 240lbs. I am white guy who grew up on the North Shore of Chicago. I was once pulled over for a five-over traffic stop in Winnetka, IL (my home town). The cop asked for my DL and reg, so I proceeded to reach into my jacket pocket and he pulled his duty pistol. I was three months out of a four-year stint as an FSO, buzz-cut, etc.

How do you think a cop will react when assaulted by a 300lb perp? Black, white, whatever. The worst outcome for a cop in a melee is to lose control of your duty weapon. They teach this shit.

If he was running towards him or something, why not shoot his leg or just injure him, why do they always go for the kill? 6 bullets? seriously?

Have you ever shot a gun? When you pull the trigger it is with 100% intention of killing whatever you are aiming at. 'Winging' someone not only puts bystander s at risk, but also your own life. What if you wing him and he shoots back? Or with the adrenaline rush he comes at you and takes your gun and kills you with it?

Wilson has a broken orbital. You can assume the kid got a shot in. Muni cops are taught to hit center mass, not "shoot for the leg." They are not trained to do so, and you wouldn't shoot to injure if someone invaded your home and meant to do you harm.

Most cops take live-fire very seriously. They have to go before a review-board each time. You think the dude was just fucking crazy and went hunting? ALL law-enforcement is taught to "shoot to kill" as again, losing control of your duty weapon is their nightmare scenario.

Would 4-5 rounds been better? One shot kill to the head?
 
Seems to me that what actually happened between the cop and the guy isn't really important now. It's the straw that broke the camel's back, a catalyst. And to focus on the details of that altercation, which will be surfaced in due course, rather than the reaction that has followed, is missing the real developments here.

Watch the livestreams, ignore news media commentary, observe what's happening with as few layers of media as possible and consider what's really happening, what you think about it, and what it reveals about systems of power.

Here's what most likely happened. Officer shoots Brown while whispering "Here comes your Kool-Aid boy".

Brown drops to the ground and is clearly dead. Officer now needs an out. He grabs Brown's arm, swings it at his own eye and breaks his own orbital.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE WHITE MAN. WE ARE THEIR ENEMIES. AND REMEMBER, THE SMARTEST THING YOU CAN DO WHEN AN OFFICER DRAWS HIS GUN ON YOU IS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

A. Reach in your pockets
B. Talk shit
C. Run towards the officer
D. Do A, B, and C. Bonus points for multitasking!
 
I have seen literally zero credible news sources that have said Darren Wilson suffered a broken orbital. The police said he was taken to the hospital for a bruised/swollen face in the days following the incident. Seeing as they have done everything they possibly can to make themselves look like they were in the right, I have a hard time believing they would have left that damning detail out. It doesn't take 10 days for a doctor to diagnose a broken orbital bone.

I'll believe that shit when I see it or the medical records. Until then, I'm going with it's just cops being cops.

these are the times i wished they'd hurry up and come up with some sort of "phasers on stun" technology in the near future :p. but srsly, if you think about it for a moment, i thinkmost of these cases/situations where we report about 'trigger-happy police' or of 'police brutality' would pretty much disappear. heck, we've gotten to the point where we medically understand quite a bit about the human nervous system. currently all we've got are tasers which has plenty of limitations (starting with the fact that it's hooked to a wire, not always accurate, doesn't exactly make the recipient pass out but just stuns them to the ground, etc). it's only a matter of time with the way our technology is advancing.

WRT personal defense, if you try to wing someone the courts may rule that you didn't believe your life was in danger. Always shoot to kill and empty your magazine. Plus, just one or two bullets doesn't always do the trick. Take 50 Cent, for example. He got shot 9 times and is still alive!

Most people have also never shot a gun before and it's a lot fucking harder to hit shit in real life than it is in Goldeneye (I bet there's a bunch of former Oddjob players on this board).

The idea that you'd take the chance of totally missing by shooting "for the legs" when a person is running at you is just asinine.

All I know about Gavrilo is that I would never let him hire anyone because apparently he fucking sucked at picking out people who would actually do their job.

I actually just went to check if Gavrilo was even in charge of the operation until I got totally sidetracked by this morbidly hilarious excerpt from the Wikipedia page:
