It would appear that the victim in this case actually brought a knife to a gunfight, with predictible results.

I'm no friend of the police, but it's common knowledge that they can and will shoot you to death.

Without arguing right or wrong, isn't it possible that people are just acting irresponsibly in the face of a known danger?

I don't know about you guys, but I am incredibly circumspect in situations where the possibility of my sustaining a gunshot wound exists...

I've had police officers point guns at me on 3 occasions in the past, but they never shot me because I just stopped whatever I was doing that made them so uncomfortable.

It's not an ideal situation to be in, and I don't even think that the police are justified in drawing their weapons in most cases, but the fact remains that when someone points a firearm at you, your actions tend to determine the course of events that follow.

no fucking way, it's obvious that the STL PD knocked Wilson's eye out with a hammer in order to create post-hoc justification for the coldblooded murder of the best cardiothoracic surgeon this country has ever seen.

I like how they put a pic of him grabbing the clerk by the shirt collar. Makes him look like this giant, where is the pic of the officer? Lets see this blown out eye socket.

This dude gets his shit took last night:

Do all the streams start late or what? Vice and others are not online yet.. i guess everyone sleeps during the day there.

I was watching vice last night was cool till the guy decided to follow the instructions of the police and go into their little press box like a good boy. I'll be lookin for someone who won't obey the police tonight.

Anyone want to tell grandpa what streaming sites the kids are using these days?

Vice is pretty much the only stream I have found that's worth following.

This channel tends to have whatever is popping off:
globalrevolution - live streaming video powered by Livestream

I tried to tweet at the Vice people, they need to just abandon a camera and leave it streaming when the police force them out.

VICE News has it when they can get it. Last night they just got caught in the chaos and were surrounded by police when they came out of it.

Thanks, someone needs to strap some helmet cams on these fine young citizens.

Will share 1, at least.

Pulled over by a female officer around 3am on a dark country road for having a taillight out.

I had just purchased the replacement lamp that evening, and it was sitting in a bag on the passenger side front seat.

She explained that I had a taillight out, I told her that I knew, and that I had already purchased the replacement.

<turn and reach for bag on seat>

KEEP YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!

Look up, and I'm looking down the barrel of a Glock 23 .40 cal.

I stopped what the fuck I was doing, and she didn't shoot me in the face.

I think she felt bad for drawing on me, b/c she let me go with a warning.

I have been especially cautious around female police officers ever since that night.
