Some people here got into AM from the start, but for those of us who haven't... What jobs have you worked in the past?

I worked as a pc technician for about 2 years before I got into web development.
 


Porn spammer, but then got promoted 6 months later to...
Director of Marketing for their Gaming and Adult clients. That was pretty much the first and last REAL job I ever had.

Plumbing assistant, Sheet Metal Worker, Tested Chemicals for roof bolting in Coal Mining, Car Washer, IT Operator, Fruit Shop Owner, Freelance webby, SEO consultant.
 
I've been a bouncer for about 7 years now. I used to be the head doorman in the bigggest club in the city but I've scaled working in bars back quite a bit now since I make the majority of my money online. I still work 1 shift a week at my favourite bar just for some fun.
 
Never had a proper job in my life - i was a game reviewer for a small nintendo site bout 4 years ago, didnt get anythin and only wrote 1 review :P
 
I started making money on the internet in 7th grade, so I don't have much "job expirence".

McDonalds - for 3 months to get school credits for work expirence.
Worked at a skateshop, working on their website.
Did some composite layups (fiberglass, carbon fiber), some welding.. mainly just 'cause I wanted to learn how to do it.

That's about it. I currently have a day-job at a manufacturing company doing all their print advertising, wide format printing, website and print catalogs.

I don't think I've ever had a real job, but I've coached varsity tennis and cross country at a high school, and I also spent five summers working at a summer camp.
 
Having a crap job once or twice in your life is good. It makes you appreciate working for yourself and doing something you enjoy so much more.
