Wanted by the police

I guess I was being facetious. In other words, why does everyone expect Israel to give up land, when nobody else is willing to? The other Arab states claim they just want their "Palestinian brothers" to have a homeland, yet they won't give an ounce of their own land to settle the issue. Israel has done some really shady shit, but I gotta side with them on this one.

The people that claim Israel stole the land - that goes for everybody, everywhere. At some point in time, pretty much every nation took their land by force. I'm sure the Visigoths want their land back too but at some point it's time to move on.

People of Visigoth ancestry in Spain get the same rights as everyone else there. There's no Visigoth region in Spain that 100 countries recognize as a state and that Spain allows to at least partially govern themselves. Yeah, there aren't Visigoth terrorists in Spain, either.

Everyone from Reagan to Bush has asked Israel to stop expanding their settlements, so this isn't just liberal hippie kumbaya.

I was joking about the Visigoths, but since you want to defend Spain how about the Basques?

I don't know much about Spain, but I'm not aware of the national government having any special restrictions or whatever for a specific region. Glancing at the wikipedia for Basque, it is said to be the wealthiest part of Spain and one of the most decentralized places in the world. I assume their situation is more similar to Quebec with Canada.

Read up on the ETA.

A secular one-state solution is in my view the only one that has the chance of satisfying the majority (who just want peace) on both sides. Shame that it's always the extremists that shout the loudest.

There is no solution. The extremist on both sides would NEVER allow peace between them. The only solution is for one side to disapear from the area.

Have to agree with Popeye, a secular solution in that part of the world is a pipe dream. There will never be peace in that region, the world may as well adapt.

A few hundred years ago most people would have thought a secular Europe to be just as implausible and it's only really taken two or three generations for most of the west to go from God-fearing church goes to not giving a shit about religion (I bet your grandparents where more religious than you).

I'm not saying it's gonna be quick...

Actually if the current trends continue soon Europe will be predominantly Muslim, under Sharia law.

Look at these "oppressed" people protesting against Fitna Movie and promising death to Netherlands' most popular elected official who made it:

That's bullshit, based on media share stories. Look at the figures, there's more people who describe themselves as atheist or non-religious than ever before and that is increasing year on year.

Many Words

We get it you are Jewish and love your country/religion to the point of becoming an israeli extremist/suicide bomber.

You are a great example of one of the many problems exacerbating the situation, and the most retarded thing is you can't even understand that. If you re-read every response you posted in this thread thus far through an unbiased glass window you would see that your hatred makes you just as bad as the muslim extremists on the other side of the wall.

What hatred? I am against terrorism and suicide bombing. I do believe that the State of Israel has every right to defend itself against it.

There is no such thing as "unbiased" solution to Middle East conflict. If you think there is one, you have not been involved or paying attention.

I am not religious at all my the way.

These atheist or non-religious people do not threaten violence to create a state based on religious law. People in the video I posted do.

Israel is a failed experiment. It's a shame on all sides. Just because it's a relatively modern one, we forget the lessons of history. Historically when a group of people force the natives out/minimalize their ability to have self-determination in any way, shape or form, either the oppressing people allow the natives to "assimilate" (which doesn't always work out that well, but at least we're not killing Native Americans here in the U.S.) or the oppressing people kill off all the natives.

The next 20 years will be interesting to watch as it all plays out.

lol i just heard that interpol will be issuing a mandate for the mossad chief if it turns out to be an israeli operation.

Also all those states have now protested about how those israelian agents used stolen passports.. Some irish dude was on TV declaring that he was in Ireland by the time someone allegedly checked into the hotel in dubai (with his stolen passport).

man, this is some smart shit, lol. i doubt that those agents will ever get out of israel safely again.

lolol dude have you ever heard about the word minority? nobody gives a shit what those sharia morons think. u need to get out and meet some western muslims, who are real chill too

You are wrong with the facts. The Jews ARE the natives. The land was their first.

Jews -> ........... -> British mandate -> Israel

Israel first became a nation in 1312 B.C.E., two thousand years before the rise of Islam.

Israel first became a nation in 1312 B.C.E., two thousand years before the rise of Islam.

The Israel 'nation' in 1312 BC was destroyed, in much the same way many empires were. The issue here is that the current Israeli state not only deny people their basic human rights, but are also continuing an illegal occupation of lands stolen under the British mandate.

Palestinians have a right to self determination, and Israel are currently denying them it.

On 29 November, the UN General Assembly voted 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions, in favour of the Partition Plan... The division was to take effect on the date of British withdrawal.

The Jewish Agency, which was the Jewish state-in-formation, accepted the plan, and nearly all the Jews in Palestine rejoiced at the news.

The partition plan was rejected out of hand by Palestinian Arab leaders and by most of the Arab population. Meeting in Cairo in November and December 1947, the Arab League then adopted a series of resolutions aimed at a military solution to the conflict.

^ A two state solution right there, rejected by the paletinians.

50/50 in land

UN_Partition_Plan_For_Palestine_1947.png

50/50 in land which belonged to the Palestinian people. Why should they have agreed to anything less than reinstitution of their stolen lands, especially when they had been treated with such distain by the majority of the UN Council members.

Not only were Israel given the most fertile, rich lands, they were also given a disproportionate amount as per population ratio. Its not an agreement I would accept if I was a Palestinian.

Soon Israels luck will change, they will not get away with bullying this small enclave much longer.

This thread has turned into a general discussion of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I've had hundreds of these discussions so I'm getting bored of it.

About Interpol going after the chief of the Mossad, I will believe when I see it. They might have to make a declaration like that to appease Arab and Muslim countries and their communities in Europe, but behind the scenes all the Western governments that matter will work to prevent it from being carried out.
