the lack of patriotism in here just makes me laugh...it's no wonder other countries think of us as shit...which i really don't care what they think or say but when it comes to politics, you guys start caring a whole lot as to what others think or say about us.

hypocrites...i'm asking you to represent your nation and support a team fighting for this country in a world event. not asking you fuckers to love soccer ...bunch of dumbasses in here.
 
as far as numbers/ratings go...you get alot of hundreds or thousands of people watching it at events so those ratings are skewed.
 
I never watched a game of soccer in my life until fifa.. Watched all the US games.. The last one was so god damn irritating and boring, up until the 91 minute mark, that was pretty exciting. But I honestly don't see myself becoming a routine fan of soccer after this, too uneventful for my taste - but because FIFA is a big deal, I'll continue to watch the US as long as they're in it

Basketball is not our "nations sport" so I'm not sure how you guys can try and compare it to game one of the NBA Finals. Then again it's only the "hundredth" time the LA Lakers have been there, so who gives a fuck?

How about comparing it to the NFL playoffs you fucks?
