Best Music to Work to?

Depends on my mood - I have my mixes for whatever mood I am in at the moment. My default mix is a bunch of classical and JayZ songs that I just put on shuffle. Odd I know but it works for me.

Also I don't like music with vocals when I'm working because it gets me distracted.

Most of the time I don't like music at all because it's very distracting when I'm working. Classical or other music without a lot of vocals is good. The soundtrack from the Cirque show "O" is good.

I have these guys in playing in the background today...kinda interesting.

daft punk
Yeah some came on while I was in the shower and I thought -- I forgot Daft Punk!

Definitely a good one to get you pumped up and working hard without distracting lyrics. More like repetitive lyrics that enhance your OCD/ADHD tendancy to focus on one thing.

Hence the aforementioned recommendation for jackin' funky house music. Few real vocals... it's mostly all heavily filtered repetitive stabs that come and go.

Daft Punk have composed 24 tracks for the soundtrack of the new Tron movie BTW, which should be awesome.
