For fucksake I though I made it clear, but apparently not. I AM NOT apologising for or excusing anything. I am only saying that terrorism today and throughout history is a RELIGIOUS problem not just a Muslim problem. There are fanatics in every religion because pure religion is inherently violent (I am done with debating about the pure and good virtues of Christianity as we'll let the facts speak for themselves), so everyone running around like headless chickens demonising all muslims for the act of fundamentalists should also look closer to home. I am not blaming anyone other than the terrorists themselves and all jihadists scum for what happened in Paris. No one "had it coming to them".

If Muslim leadership truly wanted terrorism in the name of Islam to cease, the vast majority of it would (there would still be outlier factions, of course, but nothing like we see today).
But they don't. Because no matter how much they "condemn" the acts when speaking to the Western world, these acts of terror largely help their own agenda for expansion ("bad publicity is still publicity") and intimidation ("we are a serious people, don't fuck with us").
