Not that I need to qualify myself to you, moron, but I've done plenty of "hard" drugs. I would, in fact, say that I've done "most of the hard drugs".

I have strong addictions to nicotine and caffeine, and although not physiologically addicted, I smoke a lot of reefer, too.
I've also done enough cocaine in a single night to kill your average stripper/hooker, and gone on three-week-benders that would make Charlie Sheen real jealous (especially if he's sober right now). Quitting cocaine was a non-issue for me.

I know lots of people who have debilitating addiction issues, the kind that get in the way of your real life. We call those "non-functioning addicts". I'm not one of those poor souls anymore, but when I was on Adderall, I would certainly say that I was.

Also, my mom was a substance abuse counselor from the day that I was born, until the day that I turned 18. I would say I know a fair bit about the subject and theory of addiction.

I hope that all of the above qualifies me to say that Adderall is the most addictive drug I have ever done. WHAT IS THIS HERESY?! I'll say it again, ADDERALL IS THE MOST ADDICTIVE DRUG I HAVE EVER DONE. I got addicted, kept doing it past when I knew it was harming me, and had a lot of trouble quitting.

There is a reason, I do not take the shit everyday. Even when I do take it the next day, I sometimes get headaches and stomach aches, to me that is a form of withdrawal. Yes, from one fucking day of taking it, take that shit everyday for a couple months and see how addicted you become.

It's not a sustainable way to live. What if your "wonder drug" runs out, becomes illegal, or you can't get a prescription anymore (like what happened to dchuk). The only way you know how to live your life is with the help of a drug, and you have become dependent on it. You don't know how to deal with life without it.

Where does ephedrine fit into this equation. I have not tried these other products but could certainly use a little extra boost/energy. I used to use (actually abuse) Mu Huang & Guarana in the old Ripped Fuel formula (loved it very much) before it went ephedra free - it does not matter because Ephedra/Ma Huang is illegal in California - what would be a good substitute - or supplement to give a try ?

I will only consider legal things - I am too old to screw around with illegal stuff.

Modafinil has to be the lamest drug I've ever taken. It has no perceptible effect at all. I once popped 6 200mg of them at one go and just felt light headed. No improvement in focus or energy. The only times it might help are if you are on a long sleep deprived drive or doing mind numbing drone work that doesn't require thought (this is why it's very popular in Indian call centers). And even then it may just be placebo.

Well since getting modafinil through the post isn't illegal, whereas getting adderall through the post is, yes.

Modafinil's prescription only, but not controlled, which means you can buy it, but not sell it. Adderall on the other hand's a class A drug.

I found something like this at a Natures Pantry. They were selling something similar in a box of 20 I think, for $ 4.95, I only bought one bottle for $0.39 just to try it out.

Just took it and I'm pretty wired O_O. Definitely worth a try. I would imagine any health food store or vitamin shop would have it. Just look for any kind of liquid red panax ginseng extract.
