Suck a Dick Vivera/Opes/Mike/Mitch/DEE

The only value a network has in this world is being a bank in the middle extending terms to advertisers, paying affiliates quickly to cover media costs, and managing the relationships in the middle.
.

What if your primary bank suddenly stopped paying interest? What if the teller says you that you cannot withdraw money because they haven't received their shipment from the main vault yet? Would you continue to bank with them? While this is a rather drastic comparison, the concept still applies, they take a cut for mitigating the risk from the publisher (in theory).

If you want to continue banking on free trial weight loss products, make sure you choose a bank within the DeeFDIC. I would reconsider my business model if I was still dependent on these revenue sources. Diversify and find advertisers you can trust. There are a few out there.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not (I haven't read the first 2 pages in a week or so), but doesn't this also artificially inflate the EPC/Conversions? You are potentially seeing 17% conversions and sky high EPC's through out the course of the pay period only to realize that half of those will be pulled. Other pubs are being pitched the same high EPC. Seems like a win/win for network/advertiser, they can both advertise sky high #'s when in reality its half....

If you are working with compliant advertisers and following the "rules" (Yes, there are even rules set out recently by the FTC) then you as an affiliate shouldn't be on the hook for the money you spend to advertise just because some fuckhead says he doesn't want to pay...

Meanwhile MOST (not all, pay attention pissboy) campaigns out there skirt, tweak, break, defy, side step, ignore, bastardize, dance around, or are plain ignorant of the rules, laws, guidelines, and suggestions.

}{That is money you had to pay out of your own pocket for your ads.. do you think that I should have to just eat it up because you have a cock up your ass? Did you try getting a bigger dick and it didn't work? Is that what happened? I'm saying
Awesome deflecting dick joke. I figure you employed it to hide that fact that you are waffling and bullshitting your way into a defense.

- it should not be on the affiliates shoulders to take the hit if they have been sending legitamate traffic. That goes for rebills, dating, edu or anything. At what point does it fall on the network or advertiisers shoulders to make sure you don't get credit for a sale you shouldn't get credit for if thats the case. If I see a sale in my account I expect to be paid for that.
Um yea, see the part about scammers getting scammed and things that are too good to be true being; well err, too good to be true.

As far as who the fuck I am and what I know I don't have to prove shit to you - but I work closely w/ a few of the networks on here and they know who I am ;) And no, no saggy pants, I don't live with my mom, I don't take the bus and yes, I am over 21. Now want you wan't to come tickle my balls? cool. Odds are I've made 100x time more than you will ever make in your whole life in the passed 3 years before I even knew what a rebill was. What bugs me is how you put all rebillers in the same category.
Yea well, Bernie Madoff made more than me too. By the way, did I miss the part where amount of money makes you more or less correct on an issue? I may have. What I did not miss was the part where you peppered your weaksauce argument with dick jokes and ball references to cover your vapid and inane point of view and lack of anything that resembles a fact.

Does it bug you that I put all rebillers in the same category? So sorry. Maybe next time, fuckball, you'll try not to invent nonexistent qualifiers to my arguments.

Was promised Sat. by AM that we would be paid Yesterday. Still nothing :( Copeac has been really good on paying but a month with no pay = lost money for both of us. Would love to see my 20K+ at least this week.

What everyone keeps repeating, and what seems to me, to be the main theme of the thread NOW, is the fact that networks now are adopting the, "we wont pay you until we get paid" stance. Now, I can see where they're coming from, a LOT of networks are on the hook for a lot of money they will probably never see, but as many have said, networks doing this negates their purpose almost entirely.

Sure, networks are good because they have a large variety of offers you can pull from and probably can't find on your own quickly, that allows you to start new campaigns ect without time spent on biz dev, financing and the like. One of their main purposes is to provide cash flow to affiliates while protecting advertisers from shady affiliates.

If a network, like copeac or any other network in the space, says "I wont pay you until I get paid", what is the reason to run that offer with them? As far as I can see, stop running it. There are alternatives. Although they may do worse, I'd rather know I'm going to be paid versus some 'shady' stuff going on and potentially not getting paid.

I think a lot of networks need to re-evaluate why they're in business at this point. Were they just here for fast continuity money, or can they actually stick around, and use the old business model. If the answer is no, they need to radically change their business model and move out of the middleman role that they're centered in right now.

In regards to Copeac, They're supposed to be one of the "majors" in this space. Getting paid is their responsibility not an affiliate's. If the advertiser is slow at paying or not paying, cut off the offer, don't punish your affiliates. By withholding payment for a period of time basically you're forcing a interest free short term business loan upon your affiliates. If you are going to do this, at least pay a % or some kind of fee to affiliates for withholding their money. I mean what other business or person, loans out money for free for a period of time, almost no one (rephrase that - NO ONE), and then being forced to?

Just my 0.02...

A few legit companies did not lose their processing due to VISA and MC changes, they lost it because BPG made sure they did. This allowed Dee's companies to control the market.

The effect of this was also that other networks/affiliates besides CX, Copeac, and Epic, lost their direct offers and in many cases, if they were running Opes or Vivera offers, lost their receivable. This leaves an environment where Dee sponsored companies have a monopoly on the verticals they are in, they control the payout to affiliates, the methods of promotion, and they decide who gets paid and who doesn't.
Deepak sounds like Mayer Amschel Rothschild;

"Give me control of a nation's money supply,
and I care not who makes the laws."

So its now Tuesday night already (Wednesday on the right hand side of the screen).
Surprise surprise Deepak has not yet wired Mike.
Apparently its coming tomorrow?
A couple of issues I have with this whole situation (apart from the obvious that i have over 20k in limbo)
a) Mike here stated above that not all pubs were held back, only "a few"
"A few pubs with recent traffic (past 2-3 weeks) have not been paid yet"
I've never had problems with the quality of my traffic so the question begs to be asked why was I one of the few that was not paid. Further, who was paid ? Was it the big guys who got paid leaving 'a few' small guys in the lurch? Or maybe the ones outside of the US (not so close to NJ to come knocking) who didnt get paid?
So why me?
How many is a few and why am I one of them.
My second issue with how this is playing out, is why am I not getting paid on the traffic I made that didnt go to Dee, (CPS offer - over 10k of leads Ftw)
Why are those funds being held out on me?
My final question is - what are you going to do if Dee says the wire was sent... and you dont get it (or if he is honest?!?! and says he isnt/can't send it)

My final question is - what are you going to do if Dee says the wire was sent... and you dont get it (or if he is honest?!?! and says he isnt/can't send it)

1. Post on WF that most people have been paid and "a few" will get their wires next week.
2. Pray that you actually get paid and dont end up eating $x,xxx, xxx
3. Attempt to cut losses by stiffing affiliates
4. Lose reputation as a legit network
5. ???
6. Profit....?
