To Those that Lift Weights - Supplements?

By "good" protein powder, what do you mean? Aren't they all the same when it comes down to it?

No, protein powders are not all the same. One whey protein from one company isn't the same quality as whey protein from another company.

A certificate of analysis is done on protein powders which basically tells you how pure it is. One whey protein can have a COA of 73% while another may have a COA of 83%. The higher the number the better the protein.

If you have been lifting for less than 6 months to a year, you don't need anything other than food, vitamins, and maybe a protein shake.

Save the creatine for when you hit a wall with your lifts, and don't start taking 6-OXO or Rebound XT or any other estrogen blocker without some decent liver support vitamins.

And a simple glass of milk for some slow release protein before bedtime jobs a good un.

I'd probably take down a quick casein shake with as little water as possible. You'll have almost chew the shit it gets so thick, but then you don't wake up having to piss at 3 am. Also, casein digests slower than whey. I did notice the effect of adding this to my diet though. It's never a good idea to go for 6-8 hours with nothing in your stomach.

Any recommendations for women's fitness?
Nothing that will get us women big of course, maybe something that will help cut fat and look lean (in addition to cardio and weight training)?

Well, for "women fitness" try doing cardio and cathlistic (sp?) shit, too look lean and tone.

Diet will only do so much ... you can look thin but you'll look like shit.

Chicken Breast
Green Veggies
BCAA
Whey
Vitamins
Fish Oil
Sleep 8-10 hours per day
1-2 Ejaculations per week (Preferably SEX, not masturbation)

Do all of the above and your testosterone should be pumping in no time. Not to mention you'll be pretty shredded from the decrease in carbs consumption.

I think the word you were going for was calisthenics, but it doesn't matter because you are still an idiot. She fucking said she does cardio and weight training already. If she does those 2 already then the determing factor in her looking lean and tone is diet.

And I don't know where this "women's fitness" comes from. Fitness is fucking fitness, it doesn't discriminate.

forget it. asking geek guys about women and/or fitness is a joke. i'll research more myself.

There's a grand idea. But it isn't rocket science tough. Try some stuff find out what works for you. Supplements affect each individual differently the same as workouts do. What works for one may not work for another. All you really need is a good whey protein, multi-vitamin, fish oil, and maybe some creatine, casein protein (before bed), and glutamine.

My advice stay away from the creatine monohydrate though go with the creatine ethyl ester.
