- Fair comment. But, my point was just aimed at the legalities. (As i said, many of us have and still do obtain shady links, even just for tier 1/2 that compromise other peoples sites/lively hoods and do so without a care.)

So let me get this straight.
Basically CCarter just went all Frank Kern on Wickedfire. Good for him. He saw a target market on Wickedfire, saw it has a lot more money to spend than WarriorForum, and decided to make a quick 300K+.
This thread made me curious, so I went back and looked at all of CCarters "Enlightened" threads. I remembered them all. I remembered enjoying them, because they all confirmed things I already knew. I also remembered being amazed at how so many people acted like the information was the second coming of SEO Jesus. Like his most famous thread. The one where he tells us all to speed up our site and to target long tail keywords.
Of course, a magician never shows his real tricks. So he left out the part about ranking keywords by using links from hacked sites.
Then as soon as everyone is anointing him, he uses scarcity and mythology (he had some really fun sales copy about evil forces trying to do him in) and sells PR3 and PR4 links for a little less than $1000 a pop. Illegal links for $1000 a pop.
How we doing so far?
Of course, he didn't share with anybody any of the legitimate techniques that many of us use to get PR5-PR6 edu and gov links for FREE in openly transparent and legal ways. (ideas that can be found on multiple threads written on WF for people who really care to search and/or READ this forum).
Anyway, good for him. He made hundreds of thousands of dollars and will return a hero.
I hope at least some of his buyers made some ROI on their investment. If not, not to worry. The next golden magic SEO bullet will be around the corner. Just ask Frank Kern.

I had a mate who was an amazing baller salesman. He was actually a total cunt with no scruples at all. He'd sell anything to anyone and talk about how he "fucked them."
I've always found it tough to push anything I wouldn't push to my Nan or was something I was so overly enthused by it, sales copy was just a reflection of my enthusiasm for just how good it was. Selling is a fucking cake walk when you know what you're selling is top draw.

Well I don't care what he was selling from his links, I do know from his post and few conversations on Skype he has helped me out some and never cost me a penny.
I see so many in this thread say reading his signature or what he explained seemed fishy to start off with so those who bought got what they paid for and apparently what they sort of expected. I am always skeptical about buying anyone's service cause in the end all the seller is trying to do is make money and most can really careless if you are satisfied with it or not.

Well, let me also speak.
I always thought CCarter has some sort of split consciousness, not to say schizophrenia... I don't mean to enter people's private medical stuff, so it's figuratively, okay? I mean, there were not two - even three CCarters.
One is a great guy who posted all these enlightened threads. Okay, okay, you are right who say there was nothing original in his posts. But still, they were brilliant, in a sense. I would say, CCarter is Castaneda of WF. Nobody knows whether Castaneda witnessed and experienced all that shit and stuff or he invented it all off his smoked head, and whether Don Juan and Don Jenaro even existed - but man, either way Castaneda gave us brilliant fascinating story full of highest inspiration.
So and CCarter was this kind of tale-teller. All theory he wrote is true, as far as I can see. Had he really achieved all these peaks and thousands a day a he bragged - a big big question mark. It was clear. Also it was not a secret that he was borrowing, not to say stealing, other people's ideas and even content. But I don't think anyone can deny CCarter is very talented guy, and it was super damn good that he compiled all those shits together. As with Castaneda example, it brought tons of inspiration. And even motivation. It revived WF. Look how many cool guys voted and liked.
Why was he spending these hours to write all those threads? It was obvious he's blasting his rep. I always said - one day he will step out with his service, and become millionaire overnight... Damn, I thought it would be something cool! I was really disappointed when saw this hacker shit. I thought he is capable for more.
Then there was another CCarter, who entered every thread and tried to say something and to answer all questions. And it wasn't that cool sometimes, I even thought he was hiring somebody to post those dull posts.
And then there was yet third CCarter. Jeez, he was nuts. Real loose cannon. What he did to poor Greg Fowler. And here in that Greg Fowler story he lost tons of his rep. It was just hard to understand. He is really crazy, he even dragged me there as a witness of his coolness, although he doesn't know me at all and I don't know him. I didn't want to spoil his thread so I asked him in Skype what a fuck, but he never bothered to explain or apologize. I tell you, this third CCarter is real nuts. Damn.
